MCR3U RST & Exam Prep

This is your time to demonstrate what you have learned in the course.

There's no secret to studying or preparing for an exam.

• Study often for shorter periods of time, taking breaks to recharge.

• Remove distractions and study in an environment that promotes focus.

• Healthy food, lots of sleep, and physical fitness all play a role.

• Organize your notes and assessments. Go over them often, clarifying areas you do not fully comprehend.

• If you can't explain a topic to someone else, you aren't ready to be tested on it.

• Create a formula sheet for yourself and triple-check the accuracy of the formulas.

  • Throw it away and recreate it again. Repeat.

• Create summarized notes for yourself in a chronological or at least logical order. Do so in an organized fashion - not just random sheets of paper.

• Attempt practice questions and verify solutions with classmates or sources.

• Do. Not. Cram.
